The URW Airports team at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 8 went above and beyond to express gratitude for concession employees during the national United States celebration, Employee Appreciation Day on March 1.
Each employee received a personally delivered “Soaring Appreciation” gift which included an airplane keychain, a handwritten “Thank You” note, and inspirational chips to celebrate the annual national initiative.
Appreciation soared in the terminal! Some employees said, “This is amazing! I didn’t even know this was a thing,” and “Wow! Thank you for thinking of us!”
More than 250 gifts were distributed, applauding new and tenured employees. Every day, we continue to express our deep gratitude to all our employees for making a daily commitment to our guests and each other.
