URW joins AMAC in ongoing education session

URW’s Advance Network is built on providing ongoing support and education opportunities to help lift up our small business partners and emerging entrepreneurs. That’s why we are proud to be a longtime partner of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) where we support and collaborate to provide information and insights on real-time issues facing the industry.

Recently our own Joshua Mandel, Vice President, Project Executive for John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Terminal 8, joined an AMAC 360 panel that helped to demystify the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and what it means for local and minority-owned businesses who participate in airport opportunities. They discussed the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, from rising costs to build, to identifying strong trade partners and applying innovative new trends to airports. They also focused on Minority and Women Business Enterprise firms' entry into the complex world of airports.

“Supporting our partners and those looking to break into the industry is an integral part of breaking down the barriers to entry in airports,” Mandel said. “It is an honor to be a resource for real-world advice and insight on these intricate issues. Together, we can be better prepared to tackle the challenges of the airport industry.”
