Westfield World Trade Center today announced the return of the Oculus Beer Garden, a seasonal outdoor food and beverage experience in lower Manhattan, with sweeping views of One World Trade Center and the Oculus.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Oculus Beer Garden just in time for the Spring season,” says Marco Maldonado, General Manager of Westfield World Trade Center. “Their enjoyable menu and inviting ambiance make for the perfect place for our local community, neighbors, and friends to make refreshing and memorable moments together in the heart of Lower Manhattan.”
The Oculus Beer Garden is a 5,000 square foot outdoor pop-up table service experience. Located on Two World Trade Center Plaza, at the corner of Church Street and Vesey Street, guests will be able to enjoy drinks and light bites while taking in lower Manhattan’s most iconic views.
“We are delighted that the beer garden will return to the World Trade Center campus this spring,” said Port Authority Executive Director Rick Cotton. “This is a hopeful sign that the city is returning to what it used to be; a vibrant and appealing center with activities for New Yorkers and visitors alike.”
The beer garden will offer a curated menu with local craft beers such as Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner, Brooklyn Bel Air Sour, and Ithaca Beer Co. Every Day Haze, as well as American macro brews like Blue Moon, Blue Moon Light Sky, Coors Light, and Miller Lite. In addition, the drink menu will feature diverse wine offerings highlighted by small production local winemakers from the Finger Lakes. The wine and beer menus will be accompanied by NYC’s own Schaller & Weber Bratwurst along with artisanal light bites and bar snacks such as grilled cheese, artisanal hummus, and Bavarian pretzels.
